Sunday Brunch

After an awesome church service, my boyfriend and I decided to branch out from our ‘usual breakfast joints’ and try something new. We decided on Egg Harbor Cafe. It was delicious and had such a fun atmosphere! I decided on the Quinoa Breakfast Bowl, located on their gluten-free menu. It had red and white quinoa with several different types of seeds and nuts {sunflower, pistachio, flax etc}, almond milk, berries and honey to sweeten. This dish is high in protein from the Quinoa and Almond Milk, but also high in antioxidants from the berries! Instead of using the Honey, I sweetened mine with Stevia. It definitely did the trick!
